Tech &
rules
Tech opens with the gates and runs until the last car is cleared. Get inspected early — you can't take the track without a sticker.
Driver gear
- Minimum DOT approved, double D-ring style helmet
- Full exoskeleton cage cars — driver must be in a full fire suit
Safety equipment
- OEM seatbelts or racing harness
- ABC rated fire extinguisher mounted inside the car
- Convertibles must have a roll bar or cage
- Seats fastened securely in the car
Vehicle condition
- Battery tied down, positive terminal covered
- No missing lug nuts
- No oil or coolant leaks
At the gate
- Cars entering track must have a tech sticker
No sticker, no track
Tech is not a formality — cars get turned away every round. If you're unsure whether something on your car passes, message us before the event rather than finding out at the gate. Marshals have final say on the day, and anything unsafe comes off track immediately.
